THE CLUBS ACTIVITY OF STUDENTS OF THE TOBOLSK AGRICULTURAL SCHOOL AT THE BEGINNING OF THE ХХ CENTURY IN THE MEMOIRS OF THE PARTICIPANTS OF THE EVENTS

Abstract

Based on the analysis of the array of memoir literature, the article examines the club’s activity of students of the Tobolsk agricultural School in the early twentieth century. It is established that a small club at the school was influenced by the Social Democrats and functioned in Tobolsk along with clubs of pupils of other educational institutions. Comparison of the texts of the memoirs revealed discrepancies in the descriptions and assessment of events by their participants, which is largely determined by the ideological attitudes that prevailed during the writing of the memoirs.
